Women's World Cup 2015| New Addiction

Hello Blogger Nation!
I have finally finished the leaving cert exams! I'm now completely free from school which is great! And I can now relax!

If you do not know, the Women's World Cup is currently on since the sixth of June and will be finishing on the fifth of July, the games are being held in Canada.
The women's world cup is just like the men's.
This year there are new countries that  qualified for the first time for example The Netherlands, Costa Rica, Spain,
In total there are 24 teams and cut down to groups of four countries in each groups.

Already the few games that have been played were very strong. Germany one of the best teams out there played against Ivory Coast for the first time and scored 10-0. Nigeria had a fantastic game against Sweden 3-3.

Brazil team
USA Squad against Austrulia
My perdition for the women's final it will be USA against either Germany or Brazil.
Theses three countries have some of the best players out there.
USA have some top notch strikers like Abbey Wambach (Captain and on her final World Cup) Alex Morgan, Megan Rampone, Sydney Lerox and have one of the best goalkeepers out there Hope Solo.
Brazil have footballer legend Martha.
Germany have a young fresh team so they will definitely  cause some damage with the players to other teams.
On far left Lerox, third right Morgan, and far right Martha
From the games I have seen the teams, they have a great skills with the ball and have fantastic teamwork which is great.
Below is the table of all of the countries playing and in their groups.

Also this year the women's world cup have been televised by Fox Sports in USA, and some of the games on BBC Two which is fantastic as many of women's sporting games aren't shown on television!
