Call The Midwife



Hello everyone,
This show is about a group of young nurses midwives working and living in East End of London in 1950's and the 1960's.
The show started in 2012, in season 1-3 the lead nurse was Jenny played by Jessica Raine. The show is narrated by an older mature voice of Jenny,
The popular BBC Show was written by Jennifer Worth books then that's how the show was adapted.
Unfortunately Jennifer W passed away before the show when on air and the first episode was dedicated to her.
Jenny is one of the three midwives, Trixie (Helen George) a young  midwife who into all the big stars in America, and dresses very well. Following the youngest of the girls in the group Cynthia Miller (Bryony Hannah) a quiet and gentle nurse finds her job rewarding.

The midwives shares a house with nuns who work them. Sister Juilanne (Jenny Agutter), Sister Monica Joan (Judy Parfitt) Sister Evangelina( Pam Ferris) 
Every episode is different. We also meet new mid wives through the seasons.

We are introduced to chummy who is played by comedian Miranda Hart (came late season 1) a posh well dressed lady who is now married and mother (aw) Season 3 we meet Nurse Pasty (Emerald Fennell) replacing Jenny a lady who loves tailored clothes and is very strong minded.

This season (S4) has started with alot of drama, we meet the newest midwife Nurse Barbara Gilbert (Charlotte Ritchie) Trixie is now happy with her Reverend boyfriend. And we get to see whole different side of Pasty. A story line with Pasty may be gay and poor Trixie with her own problems with drinking! (SPOILERS!)

I really really enjoy this show as it is so easy to get into and I love the time of this era and the costumes they wear! And the story lines as it must happened to Jennifer when she was nursing. And this is one the shows on a Sunday night me and my family watch together!

Hello, Blogger's Nation! Last Tuesday I went to see a movie called "Gifted" which features Chris Evan's playing a young man called Frank who is caring for his niece since his sister committed suicide. He take's his niece Mary (Mckenna Grace) to join normal children's school until Mary's teacher Bonnie (Jenny Slate) notices Mary is gifted with solving Mathematics. It turns out Mary's mother was a promising Mathamatin solving Navier-Stokes problem. Out of the blue Frank's mother comes to visit which result's Frank and his mother Evelyn battling custody of Mary. I saw the trailer previously the trailer looked great and I was excited to see the film but in the middle of watching the film it got slow and I began to get tired of it. I was just waiting for the film to end. It was good but I had no understanding of Navier-Stokes problem or anything with maths cause I hated math.
