Call the Midwife S6E3 Review

Hello everyone!

This week's episode we got to see alot happen in the full packed epsiode of the third episode!

We got introduced to Lucy Chen who is half english half chineese, married to a chineese man who is due to give birth and her mother in law in now living with her. The chineese have a tradtion that after given birth the mother in law would mind the mother and baby and stay bedrest for a whole month! With Barbara Gilbirt was her midwife and found it hard to manage both English & Chineese tranditions. With that Lucy gave birth to a baby girl, everything went well until the mother in law force Lucy to be in bed, and always had the heating on and didn't want her to open the windows. Due to that baby went to hospital both baby and Lucy had  carbon monoxide which with quick thinking Dr Turner saved the babies life but was still in danger of dying when it was unconious and waiting to wake up thank the God's the baby woke up at the end of the episode.

With that the maturnaity home was in danger to close, and an inspector came to see what's happening, with that the rush of Lucy's baby came in the middle of it. After they had one thing sorted poor Shelagh had blood in her underwear which isn't good when your only a few weeks pregant which she thought she might have a miscarrige was rushed to the hospital aswell, good news the baby is still safe!

Sister Ursela made everyone go and visit their paintents 20 minutes tops to add an extra paintent to see. With this we got to see why she was doing it as her previous work placement she was in, a community hospital was closed down due to not been efficient enough. She just wants to make the best for the house and manturanity home. With that Barbara Gilbirt got on the wrong side of Sister Ursela which made her very upset but got comforted by everyone else.

Also Trixie came home from South Africa which Barbara was so happy about. Really showing their friendship.

After all the drama, Sister Ursela blamed herself she didn't give Barbara enough time to do a full check up of Lucy. With that Ursela didn't to leave and with that Sister Juilenne is now back to charge (thank god) and with that to end with a cheerful note we saw Sister Monica Joan running off late times, we found she was running to see their television through a community centre window to watch a television show.

With that, I have to be honest I did shed a tear when the baby woke up moving and crying at the end. I was so glad Nurse Trixie came back and Sister Juilenne is now back to been the boss!
