The Judge Movie Review
The movie was based on son Hank Palmer (Robert Downey Jr) who's an defense attorney gets a phone call from his older brother Glen, their mother had passed away. Hank fly's out to Carlinville, Indiana. His father Judge Joseph Palmer (Robert Duvall) Joesph and Hank don't get on, because Hank left to go study law in a different college.
Hank notices damage to his father's car as he is about to leave . While on the plane to return home to Chicago, he is called by Glen. told that their father is being questioned by the police about a fatal hit and run. After questioning Joesph has to go to court with the incident.
Now since Joesph is know on trail he was to get a good defense lawyer, surprising Joesph didn't pick Hank. There is a reason why Joesph has a grudge with Hank.
Now I'm not going to tell you the rest because well that's a spoiler!
But I honestly have to say, when I sat down to the movie I didn't judge it. I respect the movie in the way because this story could been a true one. The movie wasn't slow it flew very good and I didn't get bored. I also learned alot about Law, Defense and the tack ticks they use.
The entire cast were fantastic, the two Roberts played the parts amazing and the and I highly recommend this movie to see. But I wouldn't bring someone who likes action because there isn't much action. It's more human and more real to me.
